About me
Brian is widely respected in the world of mycology, both locally and nationally. As the son of Pikes Peak Mycological Society founder Lee Barzee, he has been surrounded by fungi and fungal study for most of his life. His remarkable skill in mushroom identification, along with the depth and breadth of his knowledge, has made him an indispensable resource for our club and a valued contributor to the field of mycology. Brian’s passion, expertise, and generosity in sharing his knowledge have made a lasting impact on those around him.
Beyond his work in mycology, Brian also volunteers with the Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug Center.
