Stephanie Jarvis is a truffle cultivator, mycologist, ISA Certified Arborist, and founder of Pacific Truffle Growers. She holds a Master of Science degree in Conservation Genetics with a specialization in mycology and has spent more than 25 years working in mushroom cultivation, mycology research, arboriculture, agriculture, and specialty crop consulting. Her work centers on the fascinating partnership between trees and fungi, helping growers establish productive truffle orchards while promoting healthy soils and resilient ecosystems.
Stephanie previously served as Director of Mycology Research & Development for M2 Ingredients and trained with leading organizations including Fungi Perfecti and Aloha Medicinals. She currently serves as Chair of Research for the Truffle Research and Productivity Initiative through the North American Truffle Growers Association, helping advance research and education for the emerging North American truffle industry. A frequent speaker on truffle cultivation, fungal ecology, microscopy, and soil biology, she enjoys bringing together researchers, growers, chefs, and mushroom enthusiasts through conferences, field days, and public events. When she's not examining roots under a microscope or consulting in orchards, she can usually be found training dogs, exploring forests, or hunting for fungi.
