About me
When Chris Grimes isn’t foragin’ for vintage western wear somewhere in Appalachia, he’s likely off in the woods hunting mushrooms. A TMF volunteer since 2023, Chris returns for his sophomore year as Operations & Volunteer Coordinator, better known around camp as the Lead “Soft Cowboy” Volunteer and Festival Foray Wrangler.
From coordinating the schedules of the festival’s largest volunteer team to helping keep the countless moving parts of TMF running smoothly, Chris is always hard at work behind the scenes. He also oversees the Festival Forays, making sure attendees can get out and explore the fungal wonders that bring us all together.
If he looks busy, trust that he is! But don’t be shy! Chris loves meeting new people, making festival connections, and helping everyone feel at home at TMF. 🤠🍄
