About me
I’m the founder of Mendora, a movement based wellness experience exploring the intersection of somatics, partner movement, mindfulness, social connection, and neuroplasticity.
I’m also a ballroom dance instructor and competitive dancer, currently pursuing my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on somatic counseling and Dance/Movement Therapy. My work explores how intentional movement and safe human connection can support mental well being, presence, and meaningful connection.
Through Mendora, I facilitate experiential workshops across the wellness space, retreats, nonprofits, and organizations, blending somatic movement, mindfulness, partner based movement, and principles inspired by practices like Tai Chi to create immersive experiences centered around connection and well being.
I’m especially interested in bridging ancient movement and mindfulness practices with contemporary mental health and neuroscience. I want to bring more recognition to embodied practices that have existed for generations while also exploring what modern research can teach us about why these practices can be so powerful.
